Nice chat with 60year old farmer, multi generational farmer. Works for University of DE. Has a 1936 tractor in the barn. Didn’t know mistletoe was collected by people shooting them. We went out took us awhile to find it, was just a little bit of the road. Sonde was about 70ft up the tree. Asked if I wanted it now. I said no, it’ll be out in about 6 to 7months. Farmer replied with I’ll grab my son and do some target practice. First shot, he nicked the corner of sonde by plastic stem. Second shot, branch was in way. Third shot, he hit plastic stem part, dropping it straight to the ground. Bout a 100 to 150ft shot, on target range it would be a bulls eye. Will hand over to KB30X for student experiments.
