I went out to the landing site to get the exact coordinates, but didn't hear any signal. Then I drove around Amherstburg and listened, and finally heard it. The GPS coordinates led me to the garbage can by the entrance of Navy Yard Park. I guess someone brought it all the way over and then discarded it. Lucky I picked up the signal before the burst timer kicked in!

My daughter had a doctor's appointment in the area this morning so we thought we'd swing by this location. As soon as we turned into the driveway we spotted the red parachute in the backyard. The homeowner was friendly and curious about the balloon recovery. Another occupant, and pilot, had a lot of questions about the radiosonde and forecasting as he said it impacts his glider flights. Easy recovery... probably my easiest ever.
